Follow up to the parking fee envelope

I went over to parking services today to turn in that payment envelope.  I told the lady behind the counter and she said in a not so pleasant tone, "If you would just hang your pass on the mirror they would leave you alone."  I quickly whipped out my phone and pulled up the photo to show her that I have a pass stuck to the windshield since a hanging pass can be stolen if I leave the top down.  She really changed her tone and was much more pleasant after that.  I figured out why I got the envelope instead.  They tell their employees not to leave the envelopes on cars with passes hanging from the mirror and they follow that word for word.  Oh well at least I may have helped them figure out they have to be very specific when training employees.

Getting back into it

I brought the camera to work today. I was out walking around enjoying the nice weather during a break. It felt good to get out and look at everything. I notice a lot more when I have the camera in my hand. Things like the fire hydrant in the photo. I knew it was there but I never really noticed how neglected it look.
